Meet the artist:
Susan Jean is an artist from Southern California who currently lives in Viva Las Vegas. She loves experimenting with new ideas, creating intuitively, and just having fun with the process of making something out of nothing. She is honored to have the opportunity to share her art with others and is stoked that going forward she is releasing most of her art as Creative Commons (CC0)/Public Domain for all to enjoy/use as they please. Her mission is to enjoy the meditative process of making art while also creating art offerings that will bring joy to others. Art is an extension of who she is and it is one of her favorite outlets through the ups and downs of life. She enjoys making fun, happy, colorful, weird, intuitive, abstract, expressive art offerings. Susan's art is: filled with good vibes & intentions, perfectly imperfect, experimental analog/digital mixed media, intuitive abstract expressionism, magical kind characters, & all the colors! Through the years her works have been both purchased for hundreds of dollars and given away freely, collected internationally, featured in the media (print/tv/internet), won awards, walked the runway, raised money for charity, shown and sold in retail shops and galleries, made into children's books, taught in classes, featured on album covers, sold on home goods, and collected/traded as NFTs. She has been creating her entire life and professionally since 2006. She has run multiple arts-based businesses and creative community projects, has an Associate of Science in Fashion Design, is self-taught in several mediums, and continues to study various art disciplines and techniques.
