About The Free Art Journals Project: The vision for the FREE Art Journals Project is pretty simple yet the impact is awesome (it's always the little things, isn't it?)! I raise funds by donating a portion of my FREE Art Projects tips/donations, hosting fundraisers, and accepting donations/sponsorships/grants from generous people (like you!) to create FREE art journal supply bundles to donate to various people/groups in our community. I make FREE Art Journal Drops and host FREE Art Journal Circles locally in Las Vegas, NV. Together, we are able to give the gift of a healing arts practice to many others in the Las Vegas community including: cancer communities, schools, senior living homes, memory care, coffee shop meetups, community clubs, etc.

About the FREE Art Journal Circles: This isn’t your ordinary art class… in fact it’s not a class at all; it’s more of a fun art filled gathering with friends. Every FREE Community Art Journal Circle will include a FREE Art Journal Drop with FREE art journals & art journal supplies. We will be drawing whatever we each want in our very own art journals alongside each other in community while listening to music, chatting, looking at art inspirations, and creating a group collab page in the Traveling Art Journal! The hope is that your art journal will be something you enjoy drawing in regularly and bring back to the next circle to share what you’ve created. We will have brand new art journals and drawing supplies to start your very own art journal practice during the circle and at home. If you’ve already received an art journal/art supplies from a previous circle and/or if you have your own, please continue bring them.

Virtual Art Circles? Yes please! We will be getting together with others from around the world for online art circles from time to time too. Keep an eye out for announcements on social media/Patreon and join our FREE Art Club!

Bring the FREE Art Journals Project to your community!

I've had people ask me how they can help bring the magic of the FREE Art Journals Project to their community and if that'd be okay... my answer is of course an enthusiastic YES PLEASE! I LOVE that people are wanting to spread this lil healing arts project far and wide!

Here's how: purchase some brand new art journal supplies (small journals with blank pages, drawing supplies, pen pouches), print an instruction insert to include (PDF to print/cut below), bundle them up, and donate to places like cancer communities, schools, senior living homes, memory care centers, coffee shop events, etc.

Need some ideas for what supplies to purchase/donate? Visit your favorite store's office and art supply isles & be sure to shop the sales (like back to school sales!) and/or visit our Amazon Wishlist for some more shopping inspiration. An oasis away from medical facilities, The Caring Place Program provides no-cost programs and services to support, educate and empower those who have or have had cancer as well as their direct caregivers. Services are intended to assist in healing mind, body, and soul and are not a replacement for medical care. About LVBCW: The Las Vegas Breast Cancer Warriors began as a support group in 2019 when founder AnnaMarie was going through her second diagnosis with breast cancer. What started as a small support group, soon turned into a larger community. Since 2019, we’ve been supporting community members with a breast cancer diagnosis in a variety of ways but most importantly by offering mental and social support during this trying time. By coming together, we can be sure that no one is alone during this process. Breast cancer is not easy, but together we try to make it a little less scary.
